Jeremy Prudhomme joined the SVSU Football coaching staff as the Assistant Head Coach / Special Teams Coordinator / Linebackers Coach in March 2019.
During his time at SVSU Coach Prudhomme has consistently developed some of the top-performing linebackers in the GLIAC and coached multiple players that have played professionally.

Prior to joining SVSU, coach Prudhomme worked as a consultant for multiple universities. He developed a program called The Victor’s Edge while working as a director of a mental health facility for at-risk youth at Eagle Village. The Victor’s Edge builds a successful mindset in teams and individuals through experiential learning simulations and training on leadership, team cohesion, mental & emotional resiliency, and goal setting. Coach Prudhomme has worked with and been a part of teams that have won National Championships, Conference Championships, and State Championships.
Prudhomme previously coached high school football at the highest levels in the country in Texas at Plano East Sr. High and Liberty High School. He was able to be part of multiple championship teams and had the privilege of coaching multiple players who went on to play professionally during his time in Texas.
As a player, Prudhomme was a linebacker and defensive end at Taylor University. He was a team captain, all-conference performer, and academic All-American. He was a national semi-finalist for the Vincent DePaul Draddy Trophy now named the William V. Campbell Trophy, given to the American college football player with the best combination of academics, community service, and on-field performance. It is considered by many to be the “Academic Heisman.” Prudhomme and his wife Megan have two children, Masyn and Mya.
