GLIAC -- Saginaw Valley State University junior defensive end David Still has been named the GLIAC Special Teams Player of the Week after leading the Cardinals to a 35-29 overtime victory at home over Wayne State.

Still had a big game in leading the Cardinals to a 35-29 comeback overtime victory at home over Wayne State. Still had seven tackles, including a half sack and two TFL in the contest. His biggest impact came with three seconds left and in overtime, where he blocked consecutive field goal attempts to nix the game-winning field goal attempt in regulation and on the WSU's first overtime possession.

SVSU is 4-0 for the first time since the 2005 season and travels to play at Michigan Tech this upcoming Saturday. Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m. at Tech's Sherman Field. The Cardinals are currently listed in the receiving votes section of the AFCA Division II Top 25 rankings.
