UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - Jeff Janis, a senior wide receiver on the 2013 Saginaw Valley State University football team, has had another all-american honor bestowed upon him for his performance this past football season.
Janis was named to the AP Little All-America First Team this afternoon (Dec. 19), marking his third all-american honor of 2013. He was recently named to the American Football Coaches' Association Coaches' All-America Team and the Daktronics All-America First Team for the second time.
The AP Little All-America Team honors players from Division II, III and NAIA institutions.
Janis has accepted an invitation to play in the Reese's Senior Bowl, which will take place on January 25, 2014 in Mobile, Ala.
