Janis Named To Daktronics All-America First Team For Second Time

WICHITA FALLS, Texas - Saginaw Valley State University wideout Jeff Janis has added another all-american honor to the stack of awards he has received following his senior season in a Cardinal uniform.  It was announced today (Dec. 18) that Janis was named to the Daktronics All-America First Team for the second consecutive season.

Janis, a senior from Tawas City, Mich., earned first-team honors for a second consecutive season after finishing with 83 receptions for 1,572 yards and 14 touchdowns. He accounted for 100 receiving yards in eight games this season, including a 15-catch, 331-yard, 4-touchdown performance against Hillsdale (Mich.).

Jeff was named to the AFCA Division II Coaches' All-America Team on Tuesday (Dec. 17) and has recently accepted an invitation to play in the Reese's Senior Bowl, which will take place on January 25, 2014 in Mobile, Ala.
