Jennings Earns Second Consecutive GLIAC Football "Offensive Player of the Week" Award

BAY CITY, Mich. - Saginaw Valley State University senior quarterback Jonathon Jennings has been named the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) "Offensive Player of the Week" for the second consecutive time after rushing for four touchdowns and passing for three more in the Cardinals' 55-35 victory over Michigan Tech University on Saturday.

Saginaw Valley State University senior QB Jonathon Jennings had another outstanding week in helping the Cardinals remain undefeated in GLIAC play after their 55-35 win at Michigan Tech last Saturday.  Jennings was 19-of-29 passing for 238 yards and three touchdowns.  He added a career-high four rushing touchdowns, making it seven total TD's for the game and 34 total in 2013.  Jennings leads the GLIAC with 26 touchdowns through the air and is second in passing yards (2,698) and yards-per-game (299.8).
