2011 at GVSU: Earned second varsity letter...Played in seven games with five starts...Missed final four games of the season with an ACL injury...Toted the ball 86 times for 656 yards and five TDs...Averaged 7.6 yards per carry and 93.7 yards per game...Caught 15 passes for 240 yards and two TDs.

2010 at GVSU: Played in all 13 games with two starts...Toted the ball 93 times for 661 yards and five TDs...Averaged 7.1 yards per carry...Caught six passes for 82 yards...Recorded 743 all purpose yards.

2009 at Akron: Rushed for 57 yards on 28 carries and caught two passes for 17 yards in 2009...Redshirted in 2008.

High School: Prepped at Farmington Hills Harrison under head coach John Herrington...As a senior, ran for 1,578 yards and 20 touchdowns while catching 42 passes for 500 yards and eight touchdowns...On defense, he had 51 tackles, three sacks, and three interceptions...As a junior, he ran for 1,200 yards and 13 touchdowns while collecting 33 tackles and three interceptions on defense...Named Second Team All-State as a junior and senior as well as all-city, all-area, all-metro, and All-OAA conference...son of Norman and Tammy Shuford.
