Cardinals Move up to No. 4 in Regional Rankings

UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - The Saginaw Valley State University football team moved up to No. 4 in the NCAA Division II Super Regional #3 rankings following their 28-20 win over Wayne State (Mich.) this past weekend (Oct. 29).  Going into their game with the Warriors the Cardinals were ranked seventh, while Wayne State was fourth in the region.  The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference has five total teams ranked in the top-10 in the regional rankings.  SVSU will host Northern Michigan this weekend (Nov. 5) in their home finale at 7:00 PM before hitting the road to close out the regular season at Grand Valley (Nov. 12).
