
UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – The Saginaw Valley State University baseball team concluded its 2025 season last weekend at the GLIAC Tournament in Lansing, Michigan. On Monday, the GLIAC office announced the All-Tournament Team, and three Cardinals earned spots on the list.
Austin Cicerone, Ethan Scheib, and JJ Arbini were recognized for their standout performances. Cicerone was honored as a third baseman, Scheib as an outfielder, and Arbini as a starting pitcher.
Cicerone went 5-for-11 at the plate, scoring one run, driving in another, and drawing a walk to finish with a .500 on-base percentage. Scheib followed with a 5-for-13 performance over three games, leading the team in both runs scored (4) and RBI (3). He also recorded a double and was hit by a pitch.
Arbini started Game 2 against Roosevelt and nearly completed the game, pitching 8.2 innings. He allowed just one unearned run on two hits and two walks while striking out six.
