Colin Cornwell has been named GLIAC Player of the Week after a great start to the spring break trip in Florida with SVSU winning two of their first four games. Cornwell hit over 500 and led the team in hits, total bases, and runs scored. Amongst batters with at least three at-bats, Cornwell was the leader in batting average, on-base percentage, and slugging. He hit one of the Cardinal's two home runs last week and also stole a base. Cornwell and the Cardinals continue the trip with four more games in Florida.
