SVSU Baseball's Opening Contest Against the Timberwolves Suspended due to Darkness

UNIVERSITY CENTER — Friday nights opening contest between the Northwood Timberwolves and the Saginaw Valley State Baseball team, was put to a halt in the bottom of the ninth with one SVSU out remaining.

Derrek Clyde is currently up to bat with a 1-1 count. Andrew Burke is on first awaiting his fate as SVSU has one out remaining in the bottom of the ninth. 

NU leads 20-3 over the Saginaw Valley State baseball team at this point in the contest. They will finish the remainder of game one on Saturday (May 5) afternoon beginning at 1 p.m. The scheduled doubleheader will be pushed back to start after the conclusion of game one plus the plate meeting and national anthem.
