UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - The Saginaw Valley State University baseball team will now travel to Canton, Ohio for their originally scheduled weekend homestand against Malone University due to the immense rains that have hit the Saginaw area.

The Cardinals and Pioneers will square off in a Saturday (April 13) doubleheader starting at 11:00 a.m. before finishing off the weekend series on Sunday (April 14) with a single, nine inning contest also at 11:00 a.m.

Saginaw Valley is currently 9-13 overall on the season and 7-5 in the conference. Grand Valley enters the match-up at 16-11 overall and 10-4 atop the GLIAC standings.

After a slow start, the Cardinals have won 7-of-9 and are coming off a road sweep at Lake Erie College last weekend.

Earlier in the week, the SVSU vs. Grand Valley home doubleheader was postponed. No make up date has been announced.
