BAY CITY, Mich. - Saginaw Valley State University sophomore pitcher Carson Beauchaine (Fraser, Mich.) was selected as the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) "Pitcher of the Week".
Beauchaine posted a complete game victory over Lake Erie in the opener of the Cardinals' weekend series at SVSU. He earned the 3-1 win by scattering four hits while striking-out three batters, allowing only one un-earned run to cross the plate. For the year, Beauchaine owns a 5-3 record with a 1.48 ERA in 48 1/3 innings of work.
