• Barnes&Noble
  5 mins from SVSU. It is a complete bookstore; you can get all kinds of books or magazines. Barnes and Noble is also a good place to relax buy a cup of coffee and study.
  
  
•  Kokomos
  5 mins SVSU. At Kokomos you can use the indoor driving range, play laser tag, video games, mini golf, bumper boats, go carts, or use the batting cages. It is a place that has something for everyone.
  
  
• Fashion Square
  6 mins from SVSU. You can shop for everything here. Located in the mall you can find a food court that has everything from McDonalds to Panda Express.
  
  
• Movie Theaters
  5 to 7 mins from SVSU. There are two major theaters close to Saginaw Valley the Saginaw 8 and Fashion Square Cinimas. Connected to the Saginaw 8 is the Quad which is cheaper and shows older movies.
  
  
• Stardust
  8 mins from SVSU. You can go bowling or play pool at Hot Shots which is located inside the Stardust complex. Stardust also has laser/Glow bowling on the weekends.

  There are many kinds of restaurants near SVSU. In Saginaw you can find Chinese, Italalian, Mexican, and Japanese reataurants.
