Kaitlyn Geers — Women's Basketball
Junior forward Kaitly Geers led the Cardinals over the week in two close road games against Cedarville and Ohio Dominican.
In the game against Cedarville, Geers led the team in scoring from the bench with 15 points. She also had a career high 13 rebounds and earned Meijer "Player of the Game" honors. The Cardinals were unable to pull off the win and fell, 59-57, to the Yellow Jackets.
Geers led the scoring and rebounding columns for the Cardinals in the first quarter against Ohio Dominican with five points and four rebounds. Geers ended the game in double digit scoring with 11 and led the team in rebounds with nine in the 76-74 loss to the Panthers.
