Ryan Conklin - Football
SVSU Football senior quarterback Ryan Conklin has been named the Cardinal Athlete of the week, following his stellar performance in the Cardinals' 35-14 victory over Texas A&M-Kingsville at Pepsi Field in Kingsville, Texas.
Conklin led the Cards in the season opener with four touchdowns, three through the air and one of his own on the ground, and recorded 13 completions through the air for 259 yards.
SVSU returns to action on Saturday (Sep. 14) for the home opener against Tiffin, action begins at 1 p.m. in Wickes Stadium.
