Myles Belyeu — Men's Basketball
Sophomore guard Myles Belyeu led the Cardinals over the week to a 2-0 record, including GLIAC victories over Purdue Northwest and Parkside. With the wins the Cardinals extend their win streak to six with a 10-3 overall record and are now second in the GLIAC with a 4-1 record.
Belyeu led the Cardinals scoring effort in the 87-74 win over the Pride of Purdue Northwest hitting a career high of 32 points. He added a team high of eight rebounds and had a pair of steals, a block, and a steal in the victory. His stellar performance earned him Meijer "Player of the Game" honors.
In the game against Parkside, Belyeu was named the Meijer "Player of the Game" after posting a new career high 33 points. The guard also added three boards, an assist, a steal, and a block in the Cardinals fifth win in-a-row.
