Joshua Riggs had a stellar week for the Cardinals, as the team registered a 3-2 record with wins over Cleary and Parkside.
Riggs hit .529, knocking nine hits in 17 at-bats, hitting one home run and recording 11 RBI. He walked three times, reached on two hit-by-pitches and added three doubles. He scored eight runs and was 4-of-5 on stolen base attempts as well.
Saginaw Valley hits the road for its final regular season series this upcoming weekend at Wayne State. The first game will be Friday (May 2) at 3:30 p.m. in Detroit.
