Travon Phillips - Men's Indoor Track & Field
Travon Phillips had a solid performance on Friday at the GVSU Big Meet, hosted in Allendale, Michigan.
Phillips registered a personal best and NCAA Division II provisional qualifying time of 6.88 seconds in the 60 meter dash finals after advancing to the finals with a time of 6.95 in the prelims. He currently ranks 4th in the GLIAC with that mark and is 31st nationally.
Saginaw Valley returns home on Friday (Feb. 15) for their final regular season meet before the 2019 GLIAC Indoor Championships. The SVSU Tune-up will begin at 2:30 p.m. at the SVSU Fieldhouse.
