Dylan Kopacki - Men's Swim
Senior swimmer Dylan Kopacki earned athlete of the week honors after completing three first place finishes and one third place result in the 182-114 victory over the University of Findlay Oilers on Saturday (Oct. 27) afternoon in a dual meet at SVSU.
The senior was apart of two relay teams, first up was the 200 Medley Relay where the team took 1st with a time of 1:37.23. Lastly, another compiled team for the 400 Freestyle Relay with Kopacki finished third, recording a third place time of 3:19.34.
His two indiviudal first place wins were found in the 50 freestyle (21.88) and the 100 butterfly (52.76).
The next meet the SV teams will head to the pool on Saturday (Nov. 3) when they travel to Marquette, Michigan to face a pair of tough GLIAC programs in Northern Michigan and Grand Valley State. The meet is slated to begin at 12:30 p.m.
