Lauren Huebner - Women's Track & Field
SVSU junior track & field student-athlete Lauren Huebner has been named the GLIAC Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week after her performance this past weekend at the Auto Owners Insurance MSU Spartan Invitational.
Huebner won the women's 400-meter hurdles Saturday at the 2019 Auto Owners Insurance Spartan Invitational in a provisional qualifying time of :59.66. She leads the GLIAC and ranks fifth nationally in the event. She was also a member of the Cardinals' 4x100-meter relay, which placed third in 46.88 seconds and .01 shy of a program record.
The Cardinals are back in action this weekend, traveling to compete at Bucknell University and Oakland University.
