Dustin Pumford - Men's Golf
Junior Cardinal, Dustin Pumford (St.Charles, Mich.), finished-off his stellar performance at the NCAA Division II Midwest / Central Super Regionals for SVSU with a tie for 6th place finish. He narrowly missed out on qualifying for the NCAA Division II National Championships with his one-under par total for the tournament. He shot rounds of 74-69-72 for his 215 score.
Meredith Rousse - Softball
Senior SVSU infielder, Meredith Rousse, lead the team this past weekend at their appearance in the NCAA Midwest Regional #2 in Springfield, Ill. In Saturday's comeback win over McKendree, Rousse added two RBI's, with three runs on three hits.
In the finale contest against the host team, Illinois Springfield, Rousse recorded the teams only double on the day. She had another hit and posted two RBI's, leading the team in batting average, going .600 on the weekend.
