Sam Black — Men's Track and Field
Ryder Athlete of the Year, Sam Black, participated in the annual SVSU Holdiay Classic held in the SVSU Fieldhouse on Friday (Dec. 1) evening and Saturday (Dec. 2) morning. Black took home first place in the men's heptathon on Saturday, winning five out of seven events and earned a NCAA Provisional.
Sydney Kreger — Track and Field
Sydney Kreger (Grosse Ile, Mich. / Grosse Ile HS) posted a first place finish in the women's one mile run with a 5:15.03 mark at the SVSU Holiday Classic on Saturday.
SVSU Track and Field will relax for the holiday season and will return to action on Friday (Jan. 12) for the SVSU Classic beginning at 2:30 p.m.
